Light and Creamy Custard




  • 2 whole eggs
  • 3 tbs cornstarch
  • 3 cups milk
  • 3 tbs sugar or to taste
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence


  1. Whisk eggs, then gradually adds cornstarch, sugar and vanilla. Finally add milk and mix ingredients until smooth (I use rice milk).
  2. Warm ingredients together in a saucepan.
  3. Continue whisking on stovetop until custard becomes thick and creamy.
  4. Remove from heat, enjoy warm or chilled with fruit.
